Lawrence M. Russo
The American Spirit Tower site plan is the brainchild of Lawrence Russo. Along with his brothers Albert & Clifton, the Russo’s retain & manage real estate holdings in lower Manhattan.
Working in downtown Manhattan, Mr. Russo, like all of us, wanted to contribute in some way after going through the events of 9/11. Lawrence conceived of the design and initiated the development of the American Spirit Tower and site plan out of his strong desire to honor those that were taken from us, while at the same time keeping the spirit of life moving forward. He is originally from Long Beach, New York.
Murray Levi
The reflecting pools and Mirrored Tower elements of the design were conceived of by Murray Levi, who also served as a consultant on the project to Mr. Russo. Mr. Levi is a wonderfully talented New York City based architect who lives and works in downtown Manhattan.
Nicolas Wiener
Created and developed all the 3D images & computer animations for the American Spirit Tower proposal. Nicolas is an extremely versatile Manhattan based designer who holds a professional architectural degree from the Parsons School of Design. Nicolas is originally from Port-Au-Prince.
Catarina Mota
Developed and designed the website for the “American Spirit Tower”. Ms. Mota, an all around great person, is the art director for MOS productions multimedia.
